Email pictures to have them printed?
I think MANY services offer this. I know of Flickr, for instance, I can send files to Target for local pickup. Of course, I would usually choose my local store, but if I wanted to have them printed in North Carolina for my aunt to pick up, I could just choose that store.

Check with Flickr, Shutterfly, Snapfish or any other on-line store you are familiar with. I think WalMart or Walgreen's do this also.

To save Grandma a trip to the store, you could also order prints to be shipped to her directly, because they always ask for a shipment address separate from the billing address. ANYONE can do this.
Reply:I don't know the advert, but to answer your question, images are sent to the lab using a FTP (file transfer protocol) site.
Reply:I'm not 100% sure, but it might be CVS
