Assuming you're email program isn't stripping pictures from email as a safety precaution, there should be an option on the message to show pictures or in the program preferences.

For what it's worth, pictures in email can be a tool spammers will use. In one case they will put the text of the message in an image rather than as plain text because this prevents email filters from filtering the content. Spammers will also make images into links so that when you click on the image they can basically confirm your address is valid (this can be done with text links as well).

You may need to set your options for receiving and sending graphics (you may be blocking HTML graphics).

Photos get corrupted during the sending process (cyber gremlins), it happens a lot with Yahoo! regular email. Ask the sender to try again.

--------

To set 'Options' for HTML graphics

(regular email, not 'Beta')

%26gt;Go to your email box

%26gt;click 'Options' (upper right, horizontal list of options, blue letters)

%26gt;click 'General Preferences' (second column, under 'Management', blue letters)

%26gt;scroll down to 'Messages' section

%26gt;uncheck box 'Security: [_]Block HTML graphics in email messages from being downloaded'

%26gt;scroll up to and click the 'Save' button (below the 'Mail' tab)

Why would I want to prevent HTML graphics from being downloaded?

Emails can contain offensive images or can contain invisible images that tell the sender that you have opened that email (and thus verify that your email address is active). To prevent spammers from subjecting you to these images, you may wish to prevent all images from loading until you are satisfied that they are safe to view. This is one of the many ways Yahoo! Mail protects you from spam.

By enabling the option to "Block HTML graphics in email messages from being downloaded," all remotely stored images will be replaced with this image [greyed box]. To view the message with the original images, click the "Show HTML Graphics" link at the bottom of the message.

Why do I still see images in Yahoo! Mail?

Images that are sent as attachments will be shown in the attachments area, even with this option turned on. Also note that this option will not prevent images outside of the email messages from loading. Navigational, informational, and advertising images will still be loaded.

%26gt;scroll down to 'Image Blocking' section%26gt;%26gt;

Reply:I have the exact problem! Just look toward the top of the email. It should say 'attahments' and list some links. Click on them and they will show you the picture one by one. It does take a while though.
Reply:if there is a box with an x, that means u wont be able to see it, mine use to do it when i had a piece of shyt computer. is your computer kinda crappy? If so, that is the answer, if not u just gotta get them to resend it.
Reply:there should be a button that says like download image or show image. just click on it.
