How do I change a saved pictures size in order to email it?
Visit Download.com and download PICASA. This program will allow you to set a default size to the images for emailing. Additionaly, it syncs with your email accounts for fast and easy delivery.

Reply:If you have a digital camera and downloaded the pictures yourself, you probably have a photoediting program as well. If not programs like photoshop, paintshop pro or photoedit will help.

Then what u need to do it open the file and re save your photos as no greater than 100dpi(dots per inch). If you save them any greater then that they may not be suitable for email or use online. Basically the bigger the file is, the longer it takes to upload and send..

Hope this helps.
Reply:I don't think you can actually change a picture's size unless you compress it. To compress, use the winzip or winrar software. You can download this from www.winzip.com. It's pretty easy to use. The only setback is that whoever wants to view the pictures has to download winzip too to open the file. This is the best method I can think of.
Reply:Go to this site:

It's a free image hosting site that doesn't require registration. They even give you the option to resize images.

With this, you can upload the pictures you want to send, and only include the links in your email message, that way you don't have to wait for an attatchment to get scanned and sent.
Reply:If you don't have software described by the last person, open the picture with MS Paint. Press Ctrl-W. In the Stretch window, change the horizontal and vertical stretch to a smaller percentage (example 15%). Keep both percentage the same to make sure the image is not distorted. Click ok and save the file as jpeg.
Reply:You'd need a paint program (like Paint Shop Pro, Adobe Photoshop, etc) to resize it.
Reply:If you have Windows, you should have a program called Paint installed. It can handle lots of different photo formats and might be able to open files from your digital camera. Go to the Start menu, Accessories, and Paint. After opening the picture file, go to Edit and Select All. Then click the lower right corner of the image and drag to resize it. Make sure you save it in a new file before uploading it, so you have the big pictures (with better quality) still on your computer. Also, I would recommend saving the file as .jpeg which makes a smaller file.
Reply:If you are using MS Office. Goto All Programs - MS Office - MS Office Tools and choose MS Office Picture Manager.

Next find out the size requirements from the site you are uploading too.

Next open your file. Then click Edit Pictures

Look at the right hand side find RESIZE

Change your size appropriately and re-save. Then upload
last name
