Dell or Mac. The new Mac's can run Windows XP on them and they are SUPER fast.

Alienware. They are truly the best but rather pricey.
Reply:I concur. Dell. But keep in mind that Dell keeps their prices down by offering specially configured packages of service. If you get the cheapest computer you won't get much in terms of tech support or warranty.
Reply:There are not many 'bad' brands that people have heard of. I have a Dell--it has worked fine for me.

Reply:dell might very well be a pretty good make but best way to buy a pc is from a local pc shop that builds pcs from scratch and has a good reputation for quality builds these ppl really know what they r doin and can build a pc for you tailored to your personal needs eg graphics , hard drive , memory etc and yes i am a pc builder that builds pc's from scratch lol
